Recognizing the importance of this day is a great thing. It is Independence Day for the US and many have fought, served, led, died, and spoke out so that we could exercise freedom in this country. Don’t just thank soldiers and vets today for your independence. Do your part to ensure they didn’t serve in vain. Get a life, pursue your passion, chase your dreams, realize that what’s for you is for you. If you didn’t get the job, it wasn’t meant for you. If he is in love with someone else he’s not your soul mate. If she cheated on you it’s not your fault. If your money isn’t right learn how to budget. If the deal fell through, it wasn’t a good deal.
We served so you could have opportunities to be your own hero. Decide this Independence Day to be a victor not a victim, make change not strife, speak life not death, and do something instead of complaining.
