Are You Listening?

Are you a thought leader, specialist, or feeder? If you don’t read, listen, engage, like and RT then you’re just having conversation with yourself. How do you know what folks want if you don’t listen, and ask questions?

I’m amazed when I review some “expert” profiles and see no engagement or reciprocation. It won’t last. Sites like Klout.com, Google+, EmpireAvenue.com are leveling the playing field. It’s no longer just about mailing lists, spam, followers and slick SEO. You must be valuable to your target audience. This requires market research which requires listening before selling.
